| About Me | I am originally from PA and a huge PITTSBURGH STEELERS fan!!! I have 2 intelligent, handsome sons – Jacob’s 23- he has done very well for himself, working at Stevenson Hyundai as a floor manager and was recently married. Jared’s 19 - he too is doing very well for himself! He works for Trent Refinishing (who has the contract with ALL Stevenson Group car lot s from Wilmington to Swansboro. He buffs out minor scratches, preps cars for painting, and paints cars! I am so very proud of both of my boys and what they have accomplished! I absolutely LOVE these young men and would do anything in the world for them! :) I moved here 11/81, with my then USMC husband. I still miss the cold and snowy winters! I have a 3 older sisters, one in FL, TX, and PA. I was separated for 5 years and recently divorced September, 2013. I love to laugh, sing, and dance-which I haven't done in YEARS! Recently I've been going line dancing with some girlfriends! I love to go shopping, especially when I visit my sisters! I LOVE SILVER JEWELRY, with rhinestones - the BLING – and wear lots of it daily!! I teach kindergarten and LOVE it!! I have taught K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades for Camp Lejeune Dependent Schools on the Marine Corps Base. This past April I received my 30 year certificate/pin! How many people can say they love what they do after 30 years? I CAN!! :) This school year will probably be my last, time to retire!...not sure yet as to what I am going to do. My boys say that I love it too much that I'll never stop teaching... For those of you who know me, you know I have always LOVED photography - taking pictures! I always have my camera with me!! I want to be a photographer! I don't want to have a studio though. I don't want to be tied down to a "place". I used to think I took great pictures....(read more) |
