About Me	I attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. During my undergraduate studies, along with the couple years after my college graduation, , I worked (mostly volunteer work) and studied in countries like Haiti, Dominican Repbulic, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Kenya, and London. After college, other than the aforementioned international work I participated in, I also spent a year in Boston and worked a couple part-time jobs in the restaurants industry and in non-governmental organizations like Physicians for Human Rights and Oxfam America. I also spent about a year in Colorado, as a ski bum in the Vail while working seasonal jobs and studying for the GRE and LSAT. The summer of 2006 I moved to New York City where I began my MA degree in indigenous human rights and environmental policy at NYU, I remained in the city until the end of the summer of 2008. During my time in NYC, I also worked at organizations like Safehorizon and the United Nations. At Safehorizon-- a well-known mediation organization-- I worked as a case manager and won a scholarship to attend a rigorous mediation training that was held both at the organization's mediation center and through Cardozo School of Law Mediation Clinic. After completion of this program, I became a certified mediator. At the UN, I help facilitate and organize the annual permanent forum of indigenous issues (UNPFII).
