| About Me | I married my high school sweetheart, Jim Foos class of 1971. After high school we both graduated from Emporia State University. Jim taught high school and talked me into getting my teachers certification so we could have summers off together. After I finished he decided to obtain his masters and doctorate degrees and we never had a summer off together. Such is life. I taught high school and middle school and he received his Psy.D degree and became a Psychologist. After graduating Jim’s first job took us to Denton, Texas. After a couple of years in Texas he began working for United Healthcare. With his career we lived in Hawaii, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, and Minnesota. I taught school off and on during this time. We have two lovely daughters and four grandsons. One daughter lives in Colorado and one in Florida. Jim decided to leave the corporate world of managed care and go back into private practice. We moved back to Texas and I started a new career being his office manager and learned the ever changing world of medical billing. I also worked as a real estate agent during this time. His practice changed during Covid to mainly tele-therapy. We decided he could do that anywhere so we sold our house in Victoria, Texas and bought an RV and travelled around the country while he continued to work part-time.
