| About Me | I joined the Marine Corps while I was still in high school on the delayed enlistment program and started boot camp in August of 1975. I served in Tennesee, California, and Okinawa. I resigned my non-commision honorably in 1979 and returned to Wichita. I married my first wife in 1980. I worked for Restoration and Waterproofing Contractors, then Beechcraft, then at James Riddel Boys ranch in Goddard, then finally Boeing. While I worked at Beechcraft, I was also a member of the Sedgwick County Sheriffs reserve. I had a son and daughter with my first wife before we divorced. I remarried before I was laid off from Boeing. After the layoff, I found a job with a helicopter company out of Oregon. We moved there for about twelve years until I changed to an overseas position with the company. My new position allows me to live anywhere I chose, and we chose to move back to Kansas.
