About Me	After high school I enrolled at Central Missouri State University. In college I was copy editor, assistant news editor and assistant editorial page editor for the Muleskinner student newspaper. I also was an assistant editor for the Black Voice Newspaper. After graduating in 1994, I worked for a number of newspapers and worked as a public relations specialist at the University of Missouri St. Louis. During this time I decided to enroll in graduate school at Fontbonne. I got married to Attorney Timothy Smith in February 2000. That same year I received my MBA from Fontbonne College.
