I would like to share a story with u that much of the media is getting part of incorrect. Sunday November 27,2016 my 19 year old son Santino Perez was driving home from work in sf aboit 2am. After coming off the bay bridge near the broadway exit he spun out from standing water on a part of the road caltrans jas neglected. After regaining comtrol of my mothers 2004 res hyundai accent he pulled safely to the side of the road. He called me immediate after pulling over and putting on the ER blinkers. He said "mom im safe, noting was hit but im gonna check the tires to make sure they r ok. Then he said the bumper was a lil loose and he didn't want it to rub the tire. He had i will text u when i get home. I love u. I said i love u too!. 15 mimutes later a 2009 black range rover strick and killed him. Media reports keep saying he.was in an accident that disabled his car amd that is why he pulled over amd was hit. This is so far from the truth and i will fight to my dying day to clear his name
He was a high school grad of Hayward High, played Mt. Eden little league his whole life and was taken from us all way too soon.
