About	Don was my older brother by six years, I went by Elaine. Don married in 1973 but then divorced in 1980. He had one son. Don was always mad about homeing pigeons. As a kid, he would walk out into the country and catch pigeons that lived under the bridges. His love and fascination with pigeons continued the rest of his life. and in the end, it was also the cause of his death...He had a rare allergy to the pigeon feces that destroyed his lungs. Two days after his passing, his insurance approved him for a lung transplant and it was at least two years after his doctors had requested his approval for the transplant. Don had worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Company from 1971 till his death in 2006.
