Class of 1982
Air Force, 20+ Years
Deployed 8 times to include 2 tours to Iraq, 2 tours to Italy, 1 to Kuwait, I Saudi Arabia, and 1 to Cuba .
Served as Services Superintendent managing all Force Support opperations in the Air Force compound Camp Adder Iraq.
Managed all Lodging operations for 3 states during Operation Katrina Recovery 2005
Ran all lodging operations at Altus AFB. To include off base contract quarters
Directed over 4000 foreign and military personnel rotating in from different units throughout the United States. Managed a staff of 70 personnel to include both military and civilian positions. Controlled 300+ rooms in nine buildings to include four off base facilities used to house students. Contract Manager for $100K Linen Contract. Trained jounior and senior NOC in leadership concepts and was recognized 3 times for outstanding training skills.
In-charge of all training and deployment preparations for Altus AFB Service personnel.
Trained, tracked and documentation all training as directed by Air Force Instruction .Worked with Command Post personnel to properly train/control personnel for deployment. Managed all mortuary operations during real world and exercise cases. Ran all emergency plans/operations for Service activities during real world and exercise needs.
Trained/ maintained records of training for all 52 Altus AFB base personnel on the (SAR) Search and Recovery Team. Wrote all emergency planes for Service activities during real world and exercise needs.
In Korea- Director of Fitness Center, Directly supervised six military personnel and 18 contract personnel to include karate instructors and life guards. Ran Two 50K Sq foot facilities, quarter mile running track, pool, and two softball fields.
Tracked and documented all training to include professional education. Ran food service operation at three different Air Force bases.
Two time NCO of the Quarter Jan – June 2001-Supervisor of the year 2001-Prime Ribs Outstanding Member
