David Young

Class of 1982

I grew up with this guy. His father was a former jock too. You can tell that he taught David well. He he excelled in track, and football. Even when we were kids playing in "Pop Warner", he was ahead of the curve. He knew how to strip the ball and use a stiff arm well. He was a very determined player. He was punishing to bring down. That was the first time I learned to not just take a hit, but to deliver the punishment. David's father taught him how to play baseball too. David was a great track start and excelled in the 100M, 200m and 400 relay. Why is this guy not in the HOF?
