Bruce Michael Bowers, age 59, of Marceline, Missouri died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his home. Bruce was born at San Diego, California
on June 14, 1952 to Harley Louis and Dorthea (Lindstrom) Bowers. He married Deborah Crone on November 23, 1979 at Keytesville and she survives him.
Bruce was a farmer, electrician, carpenter, plumber and mechanic. He owned and operated Skinners Garage in Mike, was a member of the
Marceline Eagles Lodge, former board member of Musselfork Township, and a card carrier of the Snipe Club of Mike, Missouri.
He is survived by his father, Harley Bowers and step mother Marlene, Rock Rapids, Iowa; wife Deborah of the home in Marceline; two sons,
Britton Bowers and wife Jennifer, Jefferson City, MO; and Jubal Bowers, Columbia, MO; two sisters, Jan Hartman and husband Lowell, St. Paul, Minnesota; and
Pam George and husband Dave, Manson, Iowa; and soon to be born granddaughter Genevieve Bowers. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Locke Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 27
from 5 until 7 PM at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Pallbearers will be Daniel, Garry, Larry, Tyler, Taylor, and Austin Crone. The family suggests
memorials may be made to the Marceline First Responders and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Missouri 64658.
