Retired in 2006 after 20 years. Navy SEABEE Construction Mechanic. 10 years GATOR (Amphibious) Navy. 6 Deployments with my last being 6 months in Kuwait in support of OEF/OIF in 2003.

I served as a signal officer for five years. One year in Korea and the rest at Fort Bragg, NC. My unit at Fort Bragg was one of the first to leave after 9/11/2001, so it was very busy. My last unit before getting out was 2d BN/3d Special Forces Group. I made four trips to Afghanistan in three years.

During my time at Fort Bragg, I made four trips to Afghanistan. My unit, the 112th, was the first to leave after 9-11 to support special operations units deployed to the Uzbekistan to help defeat the Taliban in late 2001.
