About	Ryan M. Johnson, Ph.D., 32, of Trappe, formerly of Cortland, NY and Ambler, passed away unexpectedly February 19, 2013. He and his wife, Catherine (McDermott) Johnson, were married August 7, 2010. Born September 27, 1980 in Weirton, WV, he was a son of Mark and Margaret (Tirrell) Johnson of Ambler. Ryan graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1998. After he received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC), he worked briefly for the U.S. Secret Service. Recognizing that his true love was the study of history, he decided to earn his Master's degree in History from UNCC. He subsequently was employed as an Adjunct Professor at several universities until being hired as a full-time Instructor of History at the Pottstown Campus of Montgomery County Community College (MCCC). Ryan recently culminated his education by earning his Ph.D. in European History from Temple University. He was currently an Assistant Professor of History at MCCC.
