Charlie was a Marine during the Vietnam War. He served in Vietnam and was highly decorated for his bravery.
He worked for SEPTA for 14 years and was the Chief Automotive Officer of the Bus Division. The Wyoming Ave. Shop was renamed "The Berridge Shop" in his honor.
