About	William P. "Scooter" Scott III of Telford, formerly of Horsham, died suddenly Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, due to a motorcycle accident in West Rockhill Township. He was 43. Born in Meadowbrook, Abington Township, he was a son of Ruth (Piccinini) Scott of New Britain and the late William Parr Scott II. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and 1983 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. Mr. Scott was an auto body specialist with J. L. Freed & Sons, Lansdale. Scooter was an avid Harley Davidson rider and enjoyed custom painting cycles. In addition to his mother, Ruth, he is survived by a daughter, Melissa Harley Scott of Telford; two sisters, Eadie Guthrie of Perkasie, and Ruth Haverkamp of Lansdale; and a niece and a nephew, Devon and Dalton Guthrie. Also surviving is his girlfriend, Sheri Awckland.
