About	Ever since our 60 th class reunion we were supposed to have another one in 3 years, Richard would call after the Covid pandemic ask if there was another one in progress and he really wanted another one, BUT, unfortunately in this time of our lives classmates are much older and a lot were sick or not being able to getting or traveling for another class reunion. It was so nice that he wanted to have another class reunion. There were no future plans because so many classmates could not attend. Unfortunately, Richard was dealing with dementia and was put in Neshaminy Manor. His wife, Kit, called me, Patti Medd since I was the one contacting all classmates when someone in the class had very bad health issues or passing. Kit asked if I would visit him because he could remember back to our high school days…I was amazed that he did remember me but then went back into his “world”. He kept on saying I need to go and tried to go into rooms that were not his and was having trouble using the wheel chair he was in. He continued to say he had to go and finally a nurse came to his rescue with working on the wheel chair. I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek and left crying. Never did I see someone with dementia and it is definitely heartbreaking and I left crying…
Events	Richard graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School and attended Penn State University. Known to all as Dick, he worked in the Office Furniture and Supplies industry for 47 years. His wife, Kit, worked with him for 37 of those years. They made a great team.He loved playing basketball, coaching Little League and girls softball for his children and supported all Philly teams.
