| About Me | After leaving high school, I was employed in a number of odd jobs up until 2004. At that point, I decided to continue my education and have excelled at doing so. I began my studies at GRCC where I obtained my Associate of Arts and transferred to GVSU directly into the Economics Department in the Seidman College of Business. I have since graduated from GVSU with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in both Economics and German while obtaining an overall GPA of 3.956. I received top awards in both of my departments and have been inducted as a member of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma for outstanding academic achievement in the study of business. I have also visited Europe for academic purposes during the summers of 2005 and 2006. In addition, I lived in Düsseldorf, Germany for the summer of 2007 and attended Heinrich Heine Universität where I studied German. I have gained fluency in the German language and have begun learning Bosnian (Serbo-Croatian) as well. I have also worked at Countrywide Wholesale Division in Grand Rapids, MI as well as the Campbell Group Insurance Company in Byron Center, MI. I am now attending graduate school at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and have been admitted into the Department of Consumer and Agricultural Economics (ACE).
