About Me	I am married to a wonderful man that loves me. I have two children that I am very proud of and two step-children that I am lucky to have in my life. I am the only girl out of six brothers who like me some of the time. I am who I am. I am also going into my 5 years as a survivor of Adenoid cystic carcinoma ("ACC"). ACC is a rare cancer that usually occurs in areas of the head and neck, but can develop in other parts of the body as well. ACC is usually slow-growing, but the growth can be relentless. Patients with ACC may survive for several years, only to have the ACC reoccur at the primary site, or metastasize (spread) to other parts of the body, most commonly the lungs and liver.
