About Born on December 28, 1942 in Lansing to Roland and Eleanor (Foster) Davis, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer on May 24, 2011 at the age of 68.

He is survived by Sylvia (Andrus) Davis, his wife of 47 years; his children Jennifer (John) Folvig, Scott (Bonnie) Davis, Steve (Ann) Davis; grandchildren, Skyler, Drew, Cortland, Katie, Meghan, Jack, Jason and Josh; sister, Bonnie George; brother, Jerry (Bernice) Davis and brother and sister-in-law, Herb and Carlene Maier, as well as many relatives and special friends. Larry was a lifelong resident of Haslett, MI and spent much of his life at the Centennial Family Farm where his passion for outdoor living included farming, hunting, a bit of mischief and using his natural talent for construction and craftsmanship. He was a 1960 graduate of Haslett High School where he excelled in sports, most notably as the catcher on the baseball team and the center on the football team. Larry valued his friendships and enjoyed planning numerous reunions with his classmates. He was an avid golfer and has played golf in every county in Michigan, as well as most states and several countries. Larry attended Haslett Community Church for over 40 years where his strong commitment to community service was felt by many.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 3, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Haslett Community Church, 1427 Haslett Rd, Haslett, MI. The memorial service will also be held at the church on Saturday, June 4, 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Kurt Kirchoff officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haslett Community Church Food Bank 1427 Haslett Rd, Haslett, MI 48840 in memory of Larry Davis.
