Sandra Parker '60 said:

Suszanne was born April 30, 1950, daughter of the late Wayne and Etta (Burnett) Parker. Be felled by many years of poor health finally took it's toll. Suszanne passed away at Dobie Road Ingham County Medical Care on Sunday February 8, 2026, at the age of 75.

Suszanne was a terrific high score bowler, crafter, maker of beautiful dolls, and an absolute lover of babies and dogs. Every Friday, no matter what, it was Bingo!

It has been said by the staff that Suzy, as know by all at Dobie will be remembered as a loving, kind, and easy going patient, always with a smile on her face, sometimes in spite of the pain she endured.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Paul Hunter of 29 years and brother Gary Parker. She is survived by her daughter Sheila (Dave) Gullette, sisters, Sandra Wake and Patricia Parker, grandchildren Alex, Zach, Ben, Spencer, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her life came full circle, having worked as a nursing assistant at Dobie following graduation and passing away at the same facility.
