Carroll L. "Red" Conn

Sheridan - Carroll L. "Red" Conn has gone to be with his beloved Rosie. He died Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Born in 1941 to Richard and Ethel, Red was a graduate of Haslett High School, class of 1959. During his career in the U.S. Coast Guard, he was stationed in Calumet City, IL where he met Rosie and it was love at first sight. After graduating from Lansing Community College, Red found a career as an electrician, retiring from Michigan State University after 27 years. He and Rosie were married for 42 years and retired together at their home on beautiful Holland Lake in Sheridan, MI. Red was preceded in death by Rosie. He is survived by his brothers, Richard (Mary Michael) and Bob; children Laura (Dominic) Conn, Andy (Laura) Conn and Jan (Sam) Pace; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and his loyal companion Lucky. The family will have a private burial and a memorial service will be planned and announced for friends soon. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Red's many friends and staff at Spectrum Health for their love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or Spectrum Health Hospice.
