About	Judy Ann Bennett, age 81, of Mayville passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Fisher Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. She was born January 8, 1942 in Lansing, MI to the late Floyd and Alma (Fick) Williams. Judy was a graduate of Haslett High School with the Class of 1959. Judy married David Bennett on June 29, 1963 in Williamston, MI. She retired from Woodside School of Lapeer as a Teachers Aid working with mentally challenged students. Judy loved antiquing. Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, David; son, Jim (Lauri) Bennett; daughter in law, Suzette Bennett; grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela, Christopher and Kaitlyn; great granddaughters, Evelyn, Abbie and Ellie. She was preceded in death by her son, John Bennett in 2018; siblings, Richard and Connie. The family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Avram Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place on Friday, December 22, 2023 in Rich Township Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Judy's name to the American Cancer Society.

Judy was such a wonderful friend and I will always miss her. We have been great friends since fifth grade and always were from then on. It was fun to get our two families together over many years. Our children and grew up as friends too. Some of the grandchildren have gotten to know each other too. I would hope that every one could say they had a friendship in their life that was always a great one like Judy and I did. It makes life very special! Judy will be missed by many people.
