We were friends from first grade. Used to meet on bridge in Hartford and ride bikes all over town. My parents were friends with them as well. We would ride on both sides of the river, walk on the raised stone walk going toward Christian street, put loose stone up and watch the rain fill up then take one at a time down to drain. Life back then was so great, wish kids today could do things like that instead of staying inside house. Back of our house was a revine and would go down and check the small creek climb trees and just enjoyed life.
