About Me | Hope anybody that remembers me contacts me~ I'm a bold, honest and passionate man. I excessively dislike liars, cussers, and people with no etiquette or class. In the words of Captain Rhett Butler, "I want to see if somewhere there isn't something left in life of charm and grace." When I see a selfless, unselfish act of kindness, compassion and consideration, it really stirs my heart, to smile and at times to tears. Here are some things I believe in: I believe in the power of positive thinking, in looking out for one another unselfishly, defending those who cannot defend themselves, and treating others as you would have them treat you. I believe in mercy and forgiveness, if and when someone repents. I believe politics, the police and the Church can be corrupted, but we still have a duty to vote, to abide by the law and to keep the fellowship, or there will be chaos and anarchy if all choose to give up on the fundamental foundations of society that give us civilization. Individuality is vital, but so too is unity. Pride must never be mistaken for honor. Those who want to be good leaders must first learn how to follow. It's better to die for a great cause than to live with none. Hypocrisy taints everything that should be wise, so if you preach it, do it ~ talk the talk, but don't forget to walk the walk. If you want to be a doctor or have some important position in society where you have responsibilities toward the health and well being of others with your skills, education or power, one should do it for the right reasons such as to better society and yourself as a person. Do not stray from your dreams or your first oaths. Don't let power and money corrupt your virtues, if you ever had any to begin with. Compromise has no place for people who hold power over the welfare and salvation of others. Life is not fair, and life doesn't make sense at times, if at all, but never be a quitter, never be a whiner. Change what you can change, and accept what you cannot, and always keep the faith. Remember, "an unfortunate incident may only be the beginning of a journey, with a fortunate ending. We cannot tell what tomorrow holds, but tomorrow is another day" courtesy words on behalf of the Baudelaires and Scarlet O'Hara. "Hopelessness" is the devil's dagger. Fear steals all things that should be beautiful, and strips you of opportunities and success. Fear is a part of life, but we must learn to control it, or it will control you, and regret and failure is all that will be left at the end of your days. Life is a battlefield, so be brave and always fight the good fight, and always take time to smell the roses when you can. Beauty is fast fading in the world, so appreciate i...(read more) |
