About Me	I carried out ethnographic research on a remote, recently contacted New Guinea tribe in1969. I traveled around the world over about 4 months on my way to & from NG (eg. a week in Kabul in 1970). After getting my Ph.D in anthropology at UM I was hired on there & taught for 33 years. My most recent book is Warless Societies & the Origin of War. Another ,Constructing Inequality addresses the basis of gender inequality (& it only took 600 pages to get to bottom of that).
