Favorite School Memory	I'd have to give that some thought. At the moment, it's just a random collage of generally favorable snap shots. As I'm sure for many of us, HHS was just a stop on the way.
About Me	Graduate degrees. Then research scientist and technology leadership spots at Xerox, Battelle Memorial Institute, and Allied-Signal, before heading up a start-up called NiOptics that was later sold to 3M. After that, I started and ran another start-up called Digital Optics that was recently acquired by Qualcomm. I'm now a technical director there and pretty much at the top of my geek-inspired game. Along the way I've lived in Rochester (NY), Columbus (OH), Naperville (IL), and Evanston (IL). As a result of the recent acquisition, we'll be moving out to Silicon Valley early next year. Until the move of our Evanston Labs, my wife and are commuting between Evanston and San Jose (about 2 weeks each month). My wife's from Northern California originally, has family there, so the relocation is a pretty favorable one for her.
