About Me	Well after high school I attended USD in Vermillion for a couple years. I left USD to move to the cities and attended St Paul College and received my AAS in Medical Technology in 1996. I worked for the Fairview Health System as a Lab Lead until March 1998. I than moved to Fairmont MN and started working in the lab at Fairmont Community Hospital. 5 years after I started there, the hospital merged with the clinic and we became Fairmont Medical Center - Mayo Health System. I left the lab and took a job in Occupational Health as the coordinator for the department. Once there, I took over the Emergency Preparedness activities for the campus in addition to my "real" job. I worked in Occupational Health for 6 years and was promoted to Clinic Scheduling Supervisor in 2009. In February 2011, I was asked to manage both the Scheduling and Registration Departments. In May 2011 our name has changed. We are now Mayo Clinic Health System. What an exciting time for us and with this change comes a new role for me. As of June 22, I have the position of Patient Access Manager for the Fairmont, St James and Lake Crystal locations. In July 2014, I returned to the lab field and started a new journey as the Regional Point of Care and Lab Safety Technical Coordinator for the SWMN and I-90/I-35 corridor for Mayo Clinic Health System.
