Back to Back Valedectorians
    Sisters Alizah and Jessicah Thornton are the first students from the same family to be named class valedictorian in succession. Alizah will graduate on June 6, 2009 with a GPA of 4.35 and Jessicah graduated in 2008 with a GPA of 4.12 .    Both sistes attended the Ben Franklin Academic Prep School, the Math and Science Academy and ended their high school carreers at Sci-Tech HIgh.     Alizah will be attending Clarion University in the fall, majoring in online journalism. Jessicah currently attends the University of Pittsburgh where she majors in nursing.
