Earl H. Slaughter, Jr., 52, passed peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2008 in Comm-unity General Hospital.
Earl was the son of the late Doris and Earl Slaughter Sr., he was a Juvenile Counselor for United Family Network and he enjoyed all types of sports, fishing and traveling.
He leaves to celebrate his life and memory his daughter Giovanna M. Slaughter of Washington DC, two siblings, Earlette E. and Brian Slaughter with a host of other relatives and friends. Earl was also predeceased by a brother Carl Slaughter.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Camp Curtin Memorial-Mitchell United Methodist Church, 2221 N. 6th Street, Harrisburg at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Paxtang Cemetery. Hooper Memorial Home Inc. is handling Mr. Slaughter's arrangements.
