Class of 1975
Very honored to have participated in the Show 'Winner', a broadway style musical produced by Classmate Linda 'Love ' Newkirk. 1990 at the harrisburg Community Theatre where she was the first Black lead in a show that includes the diversity of our area. Mark Early class of '75 was the business manager for 'Winner' , the Stevensons and Ezell Jones from the class of '74 also were aboard in the pit band and Ezell joined Linda onstage for a duet! Cathi Cobb A HHS Homecoming queen as (Linda was) was a dancer. Linda's goal was to highlight the diversity of the Harrisburg community and to encourage involvment of all peoples in the arts and the Community theatre in general. We got great support from many in the area and showed our solidarity from July rehearsal to 3 finished performances in October! Many HHS Alumni came out, parents, etc
