About Me	I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, moving to the suburbs in the early 1990s. I graduated from Harper Woods Secondary in 1993 as a member of the National Honor Society, and worked in retail and manufacturing for several years while working on a novel. During this time I also attended architecture courses at Macomb County Community College. In 1997 I married Jaime Zurowski and moved to Clinton Township, where our two children were born in 1999 and 2001. Also in 1997, I founded NFXstudios, which produced collector quality Halloween masks until 2003. An interest in video games and CGI special effects took me back to school in 2006, and I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in video game production, a multi-discipline degree that covers all aspects of digital visual media design and production. During this time, NFXstudios was revamped into a freelance 3d modeling company, and currently operates on the internet at www.nfxstudios3d.com, where I also maintain a daily blog. Currently I am teaching visual communications courses at the Troy campus of ITT Technical Institute, including Photoshop, Typography, 3d Modeling, video post production, web design, Flash animation, and design project/project management. My interests and hobbies are far ranging, and include reading and writing fiction and non-fiction, 3d and 2d digital art, sculpture, appreciation of classic art, sports, games, movies, automotive mechanics, and too many more to list. My favorite fiction genres are horror, science fiction, and western. In addition to teaching, I am also currently hard at work updating my digital demo reel and portfolio, and can be found hunched over a monitor in a dark room with mushrooms growing on my shoulders, surrounded by dead Coke bottles, ...(read more)
