| About Me | I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right. You believe lies so that you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself Im 5'5,120 lbs of Blond hair and Blue Eyes. German blooded..In case you think youve figured me out, Its never been about the money. Its about setting goals and chasing dreams, and If I make some money along the way, I guess Im doing something right. This is why I choose my life over relationships. I will never be "one of those women" that get left high and dry because they wrapped their life around their man. I pray for those I know that accept getting abused, cheated on, and just treated like dirt all because they have nothing else. You dont need to be a man hater-just be realistic ladies. Ive seen it all... I often wonder if people feel threatened or intimidated by me, Most people dont take the opportunity to find out who I really am. I may be quiet and shy but, thats only because I need to see who you are first. Life is so drama free for me its not even funny. I choose to keep it this way. I have a boss that has been my mentor since I was 17 and I think if he never would have made me work so hard, I couldnt and wouldnt be where I am today. My life pretty much revolves around my work and I want it this way. I think I stay busy so, that I cannot focus on the past. Some things arent worth reliving or remembering. There are things in all our lives that could bring us to our knees at any minute and I choose to keep those demons at bay if at least for now. Dont expect me to tell you my life story even if you have known me for years. I dont handle pain well and I dont seek it on others. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Karma has a way of finding you. I keep my friends close but, my enemies closer. Only I know who is who...Maybe someday Ill find love, is there someone for everyone? I dont think so, some of us were just meant to be alone and I think God only picks the strong ones to do so. “Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-insid...(read more) |
