| About Me | Graduation 1960 Computer operator for U.S.A. A. from June 1960 to June 1961. Married June 1961 and moved to Amarillo, TX then Uncle Sam recalled my husband back into the military for the Berlin Crisis. Spent an year in DeRidder, La. Husband stationed at Ft. Polk, La. Our first daughter born on base there. Then after that lived 5 years in Clovis, NM where I worked for Soutwestern Public Service (electric company ) for 3 years. My husband was an manager, insurance investagator for Retail Credit Co. The company transferred us to San Antonio for 7 months, which I worked for Sigmor Shamrock Co. and both of us tranferred to Austin, TX for 3 months and then on to Houston, TX where our 2nd daughter was born in 1969. Lived in Houston for a year and couldn't stand it there and then transferred to Waco, TX. We have been in this area for 39 years except for a bad move to AR. for 2 l/2 years and move back. We live in Clifton, which is 38 miles NW of Waco. My first job here was a computer operator for the hospital for about 3 years, then I went to work for the electric company here for 11 years, thats when we made the move to AR. and didn't pan out for us and came back to Clifton since our property never had sold. Then I open a daycare business mainly for my 2 granddaughters and did that for 13 l/2 years until last year 2007 and sold out to retire, but instead have gone to subsitute teaching.
