| About Me | Last year I celebrated my 50 year class reunion. Graduaded from Harlandale High School in 1961. That was a good year. Married in July 1961 to an Army Spec 4. We were first stationed at Ft Sam in San Antonio (where in 1963 our daughter Sherry Kay was born) then off to Germany (where our son Johnny was born in 1965) we went. What a huge change--Texas to Germany!! Three years in Germany then on to Ft Bragg for 1 year. Next year we lived in San Antonio while my Ex was stationed in Viet Nam. Our next assignment was Ft Gordon Ga (where our daughter Tina was born in 1970) we lived there for 5 years. My children and I moved to San Antonio in 1974 and my Ex moved to Germany. We both went our separate ways after that. I met my future husband later that year and we were married in April 1975. We added his little girl Sherry Ann to our family in 1976. We now have 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. I had a long career with the Air Force at Randolph Air Force Base. Retired 3 Sep 2003 after 30 years. Since I've been retired I've done whatever I wanted to do and have my own schedule. I work in my veggie garden and keep up with my flower beds. Get together with family throu...(read more) |
