About	Carol Louise Williams, age 75, passed away on February 4, 2024, in Wauchula, Florida. She was born on March 20, 1948, in Titusville, Florida, to Hal Strickland and Ethel Mae (Neal) Strickland. Carol dedicated her career to serving as a tutor for the Hardee County School Board and was cherished by her students and colleagues. Carol deeply cherished her grandchildren and was a devoted resident of Hardee County for the majority of her life. Her faith was an integral part of her life. Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving husband Jackie Williams, and her daughter Lisa Kay Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Bandy (Ricky) of Zolfo Springs, Florida, and her grandchildren, Kelly Nicole Peebles (Justin) of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Kristen Lynn McAbee (Bobby) of Ona, Florida, Lacey Blake Harris (Ty) of Arcadia, Florida, and Cody Lamar Cumbee (Shelby) of Wauchula, Florida. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Wyatt Peebles, Mason McAbee, Emmitt McAbee, and Allison Cumbee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home in her honor. A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wauchula, Florida, in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Pastor Casey Cockerham, with Doyle Carlton III speaking a few words. Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
