Mar. 25, 2023 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7001 S Beneva Rd, Sarasota, FL 34238. Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ona, Florida. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Paulette Smith; daughters, Holly Ard, Lena McNeer and Danette Smith; son Mathew Smith, sons-in-law AJ Ard and Ash McNeer, 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, his sister Francis Haydar, and nephew Hector Alaniz.
