About	IVY, Sandra Joan, 62, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Thursday, February 19, 2011, in Sebring. She was born February 26, 1948, to Eldon Ray and Hazel (Thompson) Farwell in Arcadia, Fla., and grew up in Hardee County before her move to Sebring in the mid-1980s. She was a 1965 graduate of Hardee Senior High School and was active in band and 4-H throughout school. She was a licensed practical nurse, attending the South Florida Community College Nursing program in 1996, and worked for Sebring Nursing Services and Kenilworth Care and Rehab Center. She was a member of Gardner Baptist Church, the Gem and Mineral Club, Kiwanis and American Kennel Club. She is survived by her mother, Hazel Farwell of Gardner, Fla.; sons, David Ray Ivy of Sebring, Fla., and Robert Ivy of Houston, Texas; brother, Richard Farwell of Gardner; and one grandchild, Nolan Ray Ivy. Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Gardner Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 4840 Sun ' N Lake Blvd., Sebring, FL 33872.
