About	Rev. Joe Franklin Choate Jr., 63, of Palmetto died January 15, 2012. He was born November 2, 1948 in Wauchula, Florida to Joe and Mary Jones Choate Sr. Rev. Choate was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1967-1973 and was Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Palmetto. Survivors include, wife, Deborah; son, Jac, Parrish; daughter, Christa Callaway, (Chris), Monroe, NC; mother, Mary Durrance; brother, David; sister, Renee, all of Lake Placid, Florida. Four grandchildren also survive. Visitation, Thursday January 19, 2012, 10-11 AM at First Baptist Church of Palmetto, with service at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Sarasota National Cemetery
