LT Kelly Maksem currently serves in the US Navy and is teaching Naval Science classes at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she most recently earned her Masters of Education. She served in Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom for 11 months in 2002. She is set to report to Portland, OR for re-assignment in Aug 08.

i have served 36 years in the Army, having graduated from harbor High in 1971, then going on to the US Military Academy at West Point and graduating in 1975. I was fortunate to have commanded the post at Fort Bliss, Tx as well as serve three tours in the Pentagon and commanded troops in the Gulf area for many years as an Air defense (Patriot) commander. My last assignment was as the Deputy Commanding General of TRADOC for the Army's Future. It has been a terrific career. i still have sisters and property in the Santa Cruz area and hope to live there again some day. Mike

Our Harbor High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Harbor High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
