| Favorite School Memory | It was hard to pick one. Definitely all the Erwin football games...when we won, of course!!! Also, I loved being in drama club plays each year...especially my senior year when I got to play Annie Oakley in "Annie Get Your Gun". |
| About Me | When I attended ETSU, I was heavily involved in the music program. I participated in the marching band, the symphonic wind ensemble, the percussion ensemble, and women's chorus. I wish we could have had a band at HV while we were there! In 1994 I competed in and won the Miss Watauga Valley Scholarship Pageant. In June 1994, I was a contestant in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant in Jackson, TN. My talent was playing the piano, and I got to perform with an orchestra!! It was one of the most AMAZING experiences of my life!!! I did not place in the top 10, but was one of 5 contestants that received a non-finalist scholarship award. I have been employed by the Mountain States Health Alliance Pulmonary Rehab Program (2 years), Sullivan Co. Health Department (6 years) as a Health Educator, Northeast Regional Health Office (2 years) as Health Promotion Director. I took a couple of years off to stay home with my kids....and that was definitely a FULL TIME JOB!!!! I am currently employed part time as coordinator of a TN Department of Health grant in Kingsport.
