Kristi Nanney - ELIZABETHTON
Kristi Danelle Nanney, 39, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was a Washington County native. Kristi was a 1988 graduate of Happy Valley High School and attended East Tennessee State University.

She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician with Mooney’s Discount Pharmacy. She was a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Sue Malone Nanney, December 15, 2008.

Survivors include her father: Daniel B. Nanney. A brother and sister-in-law: David & Stephanie Nanney, Elizabethton. Two Nieces: Victoria & Vanessa. Her Aunts & Uncles: Carolyn Bowden, Kay & Eddie Carty, Betty & Don Barnett, Kathy Malone. Her special friends: Angie Oliver, Tammy Matheson and her Co-Workers of Mooney’s Pharmacy.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sherrill Nave, Rev. Harold Mains and Rev. Chuck Babb officiating.

Graveside Service and Interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday will be: Don Nanney, John Nanney, Joe Nanney, Tommy Church, Eddie Carty, Jr. and Joseph Oliver. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Don Barnett, Eddie Carty, Sr., Tom Mooney, Mike Watts, Tommy Mooney and Carroll Matherly. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

To those who prefer, Memorials may be made in memory of Kristi to the Crosspointe Fellowship Church, 206 Parkway Blvd., Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.

Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to go to the cemetery.
