It’s about time for our 10-year high school reunion. Mark your calendars now for our first class reunion, October 10th, 2009. The HHS Homecoming Football game will take place on Friday night (October 9th) at Porter Stadium at 7:00pm. If you are in town, you are invited to attend the game, as well as the HHS Booster Club tailgate prior to the game (details to come later). Following the game, there will be a casual gathering at Kerley’s in downtown Hannibal. On Saturday, October 10th, we will have the pavilion reserved at Huckleberry Park for a family picnic. Bring your family and a packed lunch and join us from 11a-1p for fun & games. Topping off our weekend will be dinner, cash bar, music, dancing, and 10 years of catching up at the Star Theatre in downtown Hannibal, starting at 6:00pm Saturday night. Feel free to dress up or dress casual. The cost is $35/person and includes dinner, DJ, and a 10-year reunion book. The Reunion Committee is creating a 10-year reunion book to hand out on Saturday night. This will include classmates’ contact information and an update on what we have all been doing for the past 10 years. We would like your information, so please email or attach a paragraph (8-10 lines) to your RSVP summarizing your past 10 years, by September 1st. If you have any pictures you would like to submit (old or new, 5 picture maximum), email those to Lynn Vessell-Windmeyer, lynnwindmeyer@gmail.com. A block of rooms are being reserved at the Best Western (573-248-1150) for those of you needing hotel accommodations. A room with 1 King size bed is $79.95 + tax. A room with 2 queen size beds is $89.95 + tax. When calling, ask for rooms held under HHS Class of 1999 for the discounted rate. Lastly, please let us know your ideas for entertainment such as funny stories, goofy awards, or 1999 talent show encores.
