| About Me | Attended Aold Dominion and was majoring in music. Left in 1965 and went to work for the Daily Press. Joined the Palm Beach Post as night sports editor in 1969. Joined the Charlotte Observer as night sports edition in 1971. Met my future wife, Cathy, while at Observer. We were married in 1973 and have a daughter and grand daughter.
