Suzanne and I grew up in the “ Virginia Heights “ subdivision in Hampton, Virginia. She was part of the gang, and had no problem mixing it up with the boys. She was easily approachable, and fun to talk to. We attended Lee, Lindsay and Hampton High together. I believe her Dad was a Vietnam Veteran. It was a big deal in the neighborhood when he came home. She loved the Universal Monsters- Dracula, Frankenstein, Mummy, and especially The Wolfman . We would talk about watching them on “ Shock Theater “. She had some Indigenous heritage in her family line and was very proud of it. I lost contact with her after we graduated and went about our lives. I had heard she joined the military. I just came upon this. Very sad. Suzanne, thanks for the memories with the gang. Stick ball, Baseball…and yes…arm wrestling-Ha!!! Thank you for your service to our country. Rest well in the arms of our Lord..
