About Me	Born and raised in the Island of Crete in Greece. Moved to US in 1978 and lived in Wenham, MA. Graduated from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in 1981 Attended college for three years but I thought that it would be smarter if I got married instead of finishing college. That was a huge mistake, lol. Got married in 1985. Owned and run a Pizza/Restaurant for 15 years. Got divorced in 2000. I don't even know how I lasted that long, lol In 1997 I was diagnosed with an extremely rare disease called Acid Maltase Deficiency or Pompe Disease. In 1997 there were only 37 confirmed cases in the entire US. I was told that I would never walk, talk, or breathe on my own again. Not only that, but doctors also only gave me 12-18 months to live. I guess that our Lord had different plans for me. Not only I walked (with the aid of a walker) but also, I was breathing on my own during the day when I was up (had to be on a ventilator during the night as breathing would stop the moment I was flat) but also, I'm still here 24 years later. I guess my mission on this earth is not completed yet. In 2007 while walking, I lost my balance and fell down braking both of my hips and my tailbone. I spent 19 long months in the hospital, and I haven't walked since, and I'm on the ventilator 24/7. However, I still don't give up hope that I will walk one day again.
