About	In memory of my brilliant friend, sister, colleague, mentor and biggest fan, Marj Henningsen ('82). Marj passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of July 4th after a long battle with a chronic form or leukemia. Her mind and spirit were strong to the end, but I think her body was tired and she passed away peacefully quietly at her mountain home in Bsaba Chouf, Lebanon with her beloved husband, sister and cats beside her. Marj was an education visionary, whose ideas were always ahead of her time. She came to education somewhat by chance, embracing the field and growing into a standout leader on the international education stage for math education, teacher development, student led inquiry, early years learning and education for social change. She was generous with her time and talent for the many BA, MA and PhD students she mentored, and the teachers and leaders she collaborated with on her education projects overs the years. Marj will be missed for her warmth, big smile, humor, intelligence, love of animals (cats!), open heart, open home and open mind for all who crossed her path. The family has created a scholarship fund in her name at her alma mater, Benedictine College, Atchison, KS.
