About Me	I married shortly after graduation and worked as a secretary while my husband went to school. When he graduated from UT at Austin, we moved to South Florida where he worked for Eastern Airlines for 20 years. Because of his job we were able to do lots of traveling. We had two children then became foster parents for eight years. We adopted our first and last foster children. When the youngest of our four children began preschool, I started to college and ended up with a degree in communications. Attending college as a returning student was a very interesting, challenging and gratifying experience. Shortly after I graduated from FIU, we moved to Kansas City, MO. Because our adopted children had special needs, I chose to be a substitute teacher rather than take a full-time job so I could be available to meet our children's needs. Five years later we moved to Jamestown, Ohio. During the 13 years we lived there, the number of traffic lights in the town doubled - from one to two. It was just a little blip on the map, but we have many happy memories of our time there. My husband and I both worked at ABX Air, a cargo airline, in Wilmington, Ohio. I was the editor of the employee newsletter and handled various other areas of communications.
