Christine Dean Keels, 68, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, the Reverend Dr. Bernard Keels of Lutherville, MD., and brothers Dr. Joenathan Dean of Princeton, NJ, Dr. Willie Dean of Cordova, TN, and Eddie Dean, Jr. of Memphis, TN.
A visitation will be on Nov. 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd., Towson, MD. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Morgan State University Memorial Chapel, 4307 Hillen Rd., Baltimore, MD.
In place of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to “The Rev. Dr. Bernard & Mrs. Christine Dean Keels Endowed Scholarship Fund” at Morgan State University at www.givetomorgan.org.
Christine graduated from Hamilton High School in Memphis, TN, in 1972. After high school, she attended Boston College in Boston, MA, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She later attended American University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a Master’s degree in the Administration of Justice.
