SHELBY – Timothy Lee Rakes Sr., 49, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Carolina Healthcare Systems – Cleveland. He was born July 29, 1968, in Mercer County, to Philip Daniel and Judith Stover Rakes.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
