Marvin Stines Obituary

The Lord called home Marvin Lee Stines of Mercerville, NJ home on June 13, 2021.

Marvin was born in Trenton, NJ on March 14, 1958 and lived all his life in Mercerville. He graduated from Steinert High School, class of 1977. Marvin retired from Coleman Chrysler Jeep where he was the lot manager.

Marvin had a love for cars, especially his 1974 Chevy Nova. He was a member of GM Collectors of America Club and life member of the Central Jersey Antique Car Club in which he held the office of activity director.

He enjoyed his family and friends. He was kind, loving, and left a mark on all who met him. To know him was to love him. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and a one-of-a-kind friend.

Marvin is predeceased by his father, Marvin I. Stines and his brother, David L. Stines. He is survived by his mother, Minnetta (Layton) Stines; his sister, Sharon Coleman and her husband, John; his brother, Gary Stines and his wife, Sarah; his nephews, Robert, Brian and Michael Coleman and David and Kevin Stines; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Trenton, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.

Masks are optional for the visitation and funeral services of Marvin.
