About Event
The Hamburg Alumni Foundation will hold the second annual Hamburg Reunion Party Friday Aug. 8th. The party brings together reunion classes (5 year, 10 year, 15 etc.), the general public, and bulldogs of all classes.
Festivities are held in the municipal parking area across from the Palace Theater (behind John & Mary’s) from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.. There will be a main tent serving beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages (cash), with music. Food vendors will be on site to offer attendees a wide selection of edibles.
Keith Fisher, foundation President, says the turnout was excellent last year and we anticipate a full house for this years’ event. A firm date will make it easier for out-of-town alumni to plan ahead. A common gathering will bring Bulldogs of all ages together for a grand celebration of the glory days. The event is open to the public and all bulldogs are encouraged to come out and enjoy the festivities. The title sponsor of the event is Towne Auto Group.
The Hamburg Alumni Foundation raises funds to assist Hamburg Central Schools with specific projects and programs that would not normally be included in general funding. Twice each year the foundation awards grants and scholarships to student and teachers totaling $25,000. Additionally, the foundation holds an annual golf tournament (Monday Aug.1 8, 2014) and the Hamburg Schools Wall of Fame program (Sept 27, 2014).
